President Alvi calls for the first National Assembly session today.

President Dr. Arif Alvi has called for the first session of the National Assembly, scheduled for today at 10:00 am, as per AHB News. The decision came following advice from Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, just hours before the session for the swearing-in of newly-elected MNAs. President Alvi had delayed the session until the Election Commission of Pakistan finalized the allocation of reserved seats. The inaugural session will feature a red carpet welcome for the newly-elected members. Notable figures like Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari, Abdul Aleem Khan, and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf have been assigned seats on the government benches, while opposition benches will include Omar Ayub, Asad Qaiser, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and Mahmood Khan Achakzai in the front row.
